Air Quality Index: हवा में प्रदूषण की मात्रा को मापने के लिए एक्यूआई यानी एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. इस इंडेक्स की माप के आधार पर पता चल पाता है कि किसी जगह की हवा कितनी साफ है और सांस लेने लायक है या नहीं. एक्यूआई की वैल्यू जितनी ज्यादा होती है उतना ही एयर पॉल्युशन का स्तर ज्यादा होता है और उतना ही सेहत को खतरा भी. AQI को मापने का उद्देश्य लोगों को वायु प्रदूषण के प्रति जागरुक करना और उनकी सेहत की रक्षा करना होता है.

AQI (Air Quality Index) is used to measure the amount of pollution in the air. Based on the measurement of this index, it is known how clean the air of a place is and whether it is breathable or not. Higher the value of AQI, higher is the level of air pollution and higher is the health hazard. The purpose of measuring AQI is to make people aware of air pollution and protect their health.
