Hello friends, did you know if silicon valley were an independent country, it would have been the world's second-richest country by now? Not kidding! Silicon Valley situated near the USA's San Francisco State, was once upon a time, a place full packed with forest. But today, silicon valley has infamous companies like Google, HP, Facebook, Netflix, Apple, Adobe, eBay, cisco, Linkedin headquarters!! Can you believe it?? But what's more surprising is that whatever growth Silicon valley has achieved in the previous 50 years, the same amount of growth our country India has achieved that too in just 30 years!! Like, take the example of India's Bengaluru state... It has broken all records of San Francisco's Silicon Valley when it comes to setting up start-ups and IT sectors! India is the 3rd largest start-up, just behind the USA and China. Just 5 years ago, India had 4000 startups and today it has increased 10 fold times and now there are about 41,061 startups!! And mind you, these Indian start-ups are providing employment to more than 4.5 lakh population in India. So now the main question is, can India become the next silicon valley? Can India beat San Francisco? And most importantly how is the corona pandemic affecting start-ups in India and India's future of becoming the next silicon valley?
