In a clear sign of a possible cabinet reshuffle, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, has been appointed as the new Governor of Karnataka. According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan release, the new appointments will be effective from the date when the newly appointed persons assume charge of their new office.

संभव कैबिनेट फेरबदल के स्पष्ट संकेत में, सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री, थावरचंद गहलोत को कर्नाटक के नए राज्यपाल के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। राष्ट्रपति भवन की विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, नई नियुक्तियां उस तारीख से प्रभावी होंगी जब नए नियुक्त व्यक्ति अपने नए कार्यालय का कार्यभार संभालेंगे।
