उत्तराखंड में लव जिहाद की घटनाओं के बाद हिंदू और मुस्लिम समुदायों के बीच तनाव बढ़ रहा है. हिंदू संगठनों ने 15 जून को देहरादून में महापंचायत बुलाई है, जिसके जवाब में अब मुस्लिम समाज ने भी 18 जुलाई को महापंचायत का एलान किया है. पुलिस पुरोला की ओर जाने वाले हर वाहन की जांच कर रही है, वहीं स्थानीय प्रशासन ने कड़ी चेतावनी जारी करते हुए धारा 144 लगा दी है. Tension is increasing between Hindu and Muslim communities in Uttarakhand after the incidents of Love Jihad. Hindu organizations have called a mahapanchayat in Dehradun on 15th June, in response to which the Muslim community has also announced a mahapanchayat on 18th July.
