UK First Lady Akshata Murty was at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday as her mother author and philanthropist Sudha Murthy was conferred the Padma Bhushan award by President Droupadi Murmu. Several reports claimed that initially, Akshata Murty sat with her family members, but she was later asked to move to the front row according to the protocol. She was seen sitting in the front row next to external affairs minister S Jaishankar and other dignitaries

पीछे बैठी थीं वो, अफसरों ने पहचाना तो तुरंत लाए आगे, राष्ट्रपति भवन में जयशंकर के साथ खड़ी ये महिला कौन. ब्रिटेन के पीएम ऋषि सुनक की पत्नी अक्षता मूर्ति अपने माता-पिता की तरह ही सादगी से रहती हैं। बिना किसी तामझाम और सुरक्षा के बिना वह अपनी मां सुधा मूर्ति के पद्म सम्मान में राष्ट्रपति भवन पहुंची थीं। राष्ट्रपति भवन में मौजूद अधिकारी ने प्रोटोकॉल का ध्यान रखते हुए अक्षता को तुरंत आगे की लाइन में ले आए और समारोह शुरू होने से पहले उन्हें विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर के बगल में बैठाया।
