Former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir SP Vaid has raised suspicion about the source who is believed to have informed the Indian forces of the terrorist hideout following which an operation was launched. The ongoing gunfight between a combined team of security personnel from the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police and terrorists in the Kokernag area of the Anantnag district entered the third straight day, with drones and quadcopters being pressed into service on Friday to locate and neutralise the gunmen.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के अनंतनाग जिले में हुए आतंकी हमले में सेना और पुलिस के 4 जवान शहीद हो गए. कुछ मीडिया रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, ये हमला आतंकियों ने घात लगाकर सेना के जवानों पर उस वक्त किया जब सेना और जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस आतंकियों के खिलाफ एक संयुक्त सर्च ऑपरेशन करने जा रही थी . जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व डीजीपी एसपी वैद्य ने इस घटना पर इनफॉर्मर की संलिप्तता पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है.
