महाराष्ट्र के सियासी संकट पर बात करते हुए नितिन गडकरी ने कहा वैसे भी एमवीए सुविधाजनक अलायंस था इसमें समझौतापरस्‍ती थी. जाहिरतौर पर इसमें पॉलिटिक्‍स ऑफ आइडियोलॉजी की कहीं कोई बात नहीं थी. शिवसेना की हिंदुत्‍ववादी विचार की राजनीतिक धारा रही है, इस कारण इस तरह की सियासी परिस्थिति बनी है. गडकरी ने कहा कि शिवसेना का टूटना अच्छा नहीं है.

Talking on the political crisis in Maharashtra, Nitin Gadkari said that anyway the MVA was a convenient alliance, there was compromise in it. Apparently there was no talk of Politics of Ideology in this. Shivsena has a political stream of Hindutva thought, due to which such a political situation has arisen. Gadkari said that the break-up of Shiv Sena is not good.
