In this video, I explain how the TRP system works, how it has been historically manipulated by news channels of all sorts and also the current Republic TV case, where Arnab Goswami’s channel has been accused of trying to manipulate TRP ratings to fool advertisers and increase his money flow. Mumbai Police is currently investigation it. TRP is measured and calculated by BARC ratings agency today.
