Actor-VJ Rhea Chakraborty was groped and molested in broad day light in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. The incident took place in the evening inside the building she resides in Khar.

Rhea took to Twitter to vent her frustration. The Meri Dad Ki Maruti actor tweeted "Mumbai is so unsafe, it's scary to another level..I am absolutely frustrated with the men in this country .. Here this out, it's ridiculous" She tweeted further saying, "I just got groped by a very well dressed man who casually walks into my building in broad daylight,with 2 watchmen chilling in the building...Can a girl not walk in to her own building at 5 pm.. Where is the fucking guarantee of not getting molested" Rhea further also said, "Luckily, I take martial arts classes and managed to kick him real hard..And screamed so he ran away..But Mumbai is suffocatingly unsafe. (sic)"

Later, Rhea filed an FIR and issued a statement saying, " I would like to thank everyone for their support and encouraging words I have tweeted about this unfortunate incident only to highlight the dismal reality and ask all women to be more aware. The police are doing their job and I am confident they will get to the bottom of this matter."
