RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter Trailer Review | John Abraham, Jackie Shroff, Mouni Roy

The trailer of John Abraham’s upcoming film, Romeo Akbar Walter has been unveiled and while the first line of the trailer ‘We are on the verge of a war with Pakistan’ may fit perfectly in the present day scenario, this film is a period thriller.
Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the film is inspired by true events and is a tale of an Indian spy. John is sent to Pakistan as an undercover agent by Jackie Shroff’s character and how he helps India to ‘change the course of history’ with his covert operation, forms the rest of the plot.
The trailer is gripping and will keep you engaged from its very first scene to its last and considering the tension between India and Pakistan currently, the film will surely evoke many emotions inside the viewers.
John Abraham is back with another patriotic drama and is looking intense as an Indian Muslim spy, who wouldn’t think twice before making any sacrifice for his country. However, he is also a caring son, who wants his bosses to take care of his mother no matter what’s the outcome of his mission. John has sported several looks for the movie and he had previously claimed that it’s his most challenging film till date. Jackie Shroff is authoritative and is looking dapper. Mouni Roy is playing the female lead however, she doesn’t have much to do in the trailer.
Alia Bhatt’s Raazi also had a similar plot line and received an overwhelming response from the audiences and we feel that John’s next offering too will be able to bring cinephiles to the theaters. The movie will also entice action lovers, as John has performed some high-octane action sequences in the espionage thriller.
Directed by Robby Grewal, the film will hit the screens on April 12.
