Ranbir Kapoor to turn superhero for Alia Bhatt

Rumours about Ranbir Kapoor playing a superhero in his friend-cum-filmmaker Ayan Mukerji's next have been doing the rounds for a long time. Apparently, he will be seen with Alia Bhatt in the lead.

While the talented actor is indeed turning superhero for his buddy's untitled project, his character is nothing like Batman, Spider-man or for that matter Krrish. Well, RK is going to play a mythological superhero in the film. Yes, you heard that right! While talking to a leading daily, the Kapoor lad said, "I am excited to play the role of a superhero, but when we talk of superheroes, we just have one image — Spider-Man or Superman. But he (Ayan) isn't writing a film along those lines. I think it's a fantasy-based film, a mythological (based) in contemporary times. And it will have a boy who will have some form of superpowers. But right now, it's too early to talk about it."

In fact, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani director has vanished from limelight as he busy writing the story for his magnum opus. Guess Ayan wants to make this one to perfection.

Well, we hope the Ayan Mukerji gets his script in place soon coz we can't wait to see Ranbir's superhero avatar.
