Priyanka Chopra was roped in to act in Sudhir Mishra's remake of Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam but as the film got embroiled in financial controversies the project got canned.
Now several years later the director has decided to revive the project but he has decided on a different actor! Richa Chadda who was recently in the news for turning down films with Sunny Leone, has reportedly been signed to star in the remake. Apart from her Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt and Vipin Sharma will also be seen in the leading roles.
The makers decided to let PC go and also renamed the title of this ambitious remake as Aur Devdas
Whatever may be the reason Piggy Chops' loss has become Richa's gain!
