पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोमवार को कांग्रेस पर ‘तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति’ के लिए वक्फ कानून बदलने का आरोप लगाते हुए तीखा हमला किया. उन्होंने दावा किया कि अगर वक्फ बोर्ड अपने मूल उद्देश्य के अनुसार काम करता तो भारत में मुसलमानों को गरीबी में जीने और “पंचर ठीक करने” जैसे नीच काम करने के लिए मजबूर नहीं होना पड़ता.

PM Narendra Modi on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of changing the Waqf Act for the "politics of appeasement". He claimed that if the Waqf Board had worked according to its original purpose, Muslims in India would not have been forced to live in poverty and do menial jobs like "puncture repair".
