Kalaakaar is the story of a poor boy Ravi (Kunal Gowami), who wants to become a singer and a wealthy girl, Radha Khanna (Sridevi). Over a period of time with the help of Radha, Ravi becomes a successful singer and they fall in love. But unknown to her, he is diagnosed with Cancer and does not have long to live!
