कांग्रेस को मध्यप्रदेश से काफी उम्मीदें थीं. 2018 की तरह कांग्रेस को उम्मीद थी कि मध्यप्रदेश में कांग्रेस सबसे बड़ी सीटों वाली पार्टी बनकर आएगी. 2023 चुनाव में कांग्रेस को तगड़ा झटका लगा. मध्यप्रदेश में मुख्यमंत्री पद का चेहरा कौन होगा। फिलहाल अभी तक शिवराज सिंह चौहान,कैलाश विजयवर्गीय, ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया, प्रह्लाद पटेल और नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर के बीच रेस चल रही है। अगर पार्टी ने पिछला रिकॉर्ड देखा तो शिवराज का दावा मजबूत नजर आता है, लेकिन अगर बीजेपी नए चेहरे को मौका दिया तो इस रेस में ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया एक विकल्प के तौर पर जरूर देखे जाएंगे।
