Team India ने पहले T20I में South Africa को 101 रनों से हरा दिया पहले T20I में Jitesh Sharma को टीम में मौका दिया गया जबकि Sanju Samson टीम से बाहर रहे वहीं जब Jitesh से Sanju Samson के बारे में पूछा गया तो उन्होंने बताया कि उनके लिए Sanju बड़े भाई जैसे हैं और उनके साथ Competition उन्हें ओर बेहतर बनाता है. दोनों का लक्ष्य सिर्फ टीम India के लिए बेहतरीन खेल दिखाना है.

Team India defeated South Africa by 101 runs in the first T20I. Jitesh Sharma was given a chance in the playing XI, while Sanju Samson was left out of the team. When Jitesh was asked about Sanju Samson, he said that Sanju is like an elder brother to him and that competing with him makes him even better.
