Salman Khan who is known for his magnanimity has decided to cut parts of his promotion budget of his much awaited Jai Ho and give it away to charity instead.

Looks like the Dabangg star is quite confident of garnering big crowds irrespective of big promotional campaigns. According to sources, Salman has spoken to Eros International and asked to redo their publicity bidget as he'd like to do some charity.

The amount allocated was Rs 16 crore, but Salman told that the upper limit for promotions should be no more than Rs 6 crore. He wants the rest of the money to be distributed among the poor and needy while on city tours.

Salman has also dissed rumours of a price hike in ticket prices saying that he wants the common man to watch the film as it is targeted to them.
