It all started with Chirag Tomar participating in Hipi G.O.A.T, and reaching the big stage in short period of 6 months.

Hipi G.O.A.T. is India's biggest digital singing contest. In its first season in 2021, Hipi G.O.A.T. received 45,000 mind blowing entries from all over the country. Grammy Award Nominee Shilpa Rao was the judge of Hipi G.O.A.T. Season 1. Rupali Jagga was the host and mentor throughout the contest who guided the weekly winners and helped them improve their performances.

The Season 1 joint winners were Chirag Tomar and Sireesha Bhagavatula who were awarded a winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 lakhs each along with a golden contract with Hipi –and a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to sing a duet with the Grammy Award Nominee, Shilpa Rao at the grand finale of ZEE Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

The contest was highly successful as it spoke volumes of how true talent can be discovered when given the right platform, like it did for an aspiring singer Chirag Tomar who achieved his dream by joining Hipi. Along with him, 7 weekly winners were also announced throughout the duration of the contest, who each won cash prizes and mentoring sessions with Rupali Jagga. Hipi, provides a stage for its creators in such a profound way, transforming them at each step from creating content at home to performing live on stage.
