हिस्ट्रीशीटर मुख्तार अंसारी उत्तर प्रदेश की मऊ सीट से बीएसपी का विधायक हैं। वह फिलहाल यूपी की बांदा जेल में एक प्रमुख व्यक्ति बना हुआ है। अंसारी के खिलाफ यूपी के गाजीपुर पुलिस स्टेशन, लखनऊ और मऊ में तकरीबन 38 मामले दर्ज हैं। वह भाजपा विधायक कृष्ण नंद राय की हत्या का भी आरोपी है।
