Because of Japan’s strong labor laws it is difficult for companies to fire their employees outright. Companies in Japan are thought to have adopted this policy, including Toshiba, Panasonic and Sony.
Shark Attack
Gulf of Mexico 8 year old Jessie Arbogast was playing in shallow water on the beach when he was attacked by a 7 foot shark. His uncle, Vance Flosenzier jumped into the water and grabbed the shark’s tail. He wrestled with the shark and dragged it onto land. Flosenzier slit open the shark and retrieved his nephews arm, which was re-attached in surgery.
Fake Dating Sites
Nine men in Japan were arrested, for running fake dating sites. Despite having 2.7 million men signed up on their sites, they only had 1 genuine woman.
All of the other female profiles on the sites used stolen photos and were operated by men who were paid to pretend to be women.

Michael Malloy was a homeless alcoholic living in New York. In 1933 five of his acquaintances took out a life insurance policy out on his life and plotted to kill him so they could split the money.

In the Victorian era, wooden shoes called clogs, were worn in the North of England Clog fighting was adopted in mining towns as a way of settling disputes.
