सोमवार रात केंद्र सरकार से बातचीत नाकाम रही तो सुबह किसानों का जत्था ट्रैक्टर ट्रॉली लेकर दिल्ली के लिए निकल पड़ा। MSP और कर्जमाफ़ी समेत दर्जन भर मांगों को लेकर हज़ारों किसान दिल्ली की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। लेकिन उन्हें पंजाब से हरियाणा में घुसने से पहले शंभू बॉर्डर पर रोक दिया गया। शंभू बॉर्डर पर किसानों और जवानों के बीच घंटों तक ज़ोर आजमाइश चलती रही। कभी किसान बैरिकेड्स तोड़ने की कोशिश करते तो जवाब में पुलिस उन पर आंसू गैस के गोले दागती। पुलिस की सख्ती से परेशान किसानों ने पत्थर चलाए तो जवाब में पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज कर दिया और पानी की बौछार भी की। वहीं दिल्ली के सभी बॉर्डर भी सील कर दिए गए हैं, जिसके चलते दिल्ली-NCR के ज़्यादातर इलाकों में ट्रैफ़िक जाम जैसे हालात बन गए। बच्चे समय से स्कूल नहीं पहुंच पाए तो लोगों को दफ़्तर पहुंचने में देरी हुई। मरीज़ों को ले जा रही ऐंबुलेंस रास्तों में फंस गई तो कई लोगों की ट्रेन और फ़्लाइट छूट गई।

When talks with the central government failed on Monday night, in the morning a group of farmers left for Delhi with a tractor trolley. Thousands of farmers are moving towards Delhi with a dozen demands including MSP and loan waiver. But they were stopped at Shambhu border before entering Haryana from Punjab. The show of force between farmers and soldiers continued for hours at the Shambhu border. Whenever the farmers tried to break the barricades, in response the police would fire tear gas shells at them. When the farmers, upset with the strictness of the police, started pelting stones, the police in response resorted to lathi charge and also used water cannon. All the borders of Delhi have also been sealed, due to which traffic jam like situation has arisen in most areas of Delhi-NCR. If children could not reach school on time, people got delayed in reaching office. When ambulances carrying patients got stuck on the roads, many people missed their trains and flights.
