गांधीनगर की सेशंस कोर्ट ने नाबालिग शिष्या से बलात्कार मामले में कथावाचक आसाराम को उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है। आसाराम पर 2013 में सूरत की दो बहनों के रेप का आरोप लगा था जिसकी सुनवाई गांधीनगर की सेशंस कोर्ट में चल रही थी। 10 साल की लंबी लड़ाई के बाद आखिरकार आसाराम के गुनाहों का हिसाब हो गया और कोर्ट ने कथावाचक आसाराम को रेप का दोषी ठहराते हुए उम्रकैद की सजा सुना दी |

The Sessions Court of Gandhinagar has sentenced the storyteller Asaram to life imprisonment in the case of raping a minor student. Asaram was accused of raping two sisters of Surat in 2013, the hearing of which was going on in the sessions court of Gandhinagar. After a long battle of 10 years, Asaram's crimes were finally accounted for and the court convicted the narrator Asaram of rape and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
