Indian Army mulls to recruit civilians for 3-year 'Tour of Duty'
The proposal is stated to be an attempt to tap the feeling of the youths who do not want to join the Army as a profession but wish to experience military life for a temporary duration. 

आम लोगों को आर्मी में शामिल करने के प्रस्ताव पर विचार कर रही सेना
प्रतिभाशाली युवाओं को आर्मी की तरफ आकर्षित करने के लिए भारतीय सेना (Indian Army) एक नए प्रस्ताव पर विचार कर रही है. इसमें युवाओं को केवल तीन साल के लिए सेना में काम करना होगा और इसके बाद वो वापस दूसरे करियर में जा सकते हैं. अभी किसी अफसर को कम से कम 10 साल तक सेना में काम करना होता है. इसे टूर-टू ड्यूटी (Tour to Duty) नाम दिया गया है. इस पर सेना के आला अधिकारी विस्तार से चर्चा कर चुके हैं. संभावना है कि कुछ ही महीनों में इसे अंतिम रूप से दिया जाएगा. यानि युवाओं को सेना के रोमांच का अनुभव करने के बाद जल्द ही अपने पसंदीदा करियर में बेहतर मौकों के साथ वापसी का मौका मिलेगा.
