A charitable, happy-go-lucky yet simple man Prem, played by Salman Khan, embarks on a mission to meet a generous princess, Maithili played by Sonam Kapoor. Prem's journey takes him to the palace of Pritampur where he is placed amidst the royalty. Incidentally, the prince of Pritampur, Vijay Singh, also played by Salman Khan, meets with an accident. The prince is engaged to be married to Princess Maithili. Now it remains to be seen what Prem does to get out of the situation he is in. Will he be able to help the couple get together again? Is there a bigger secret that's yet to be unravelled?
