We will have a look at the first verse to begin with
“It’s amazing how you can speak right to my heart."
In this line the singer talks about how his ladylove can understand him and his feelings completely.
“Without saying a word, you can light up the dark."
Here he says, how when a person feels very low and depressed, there’s always a special person in their life who can make them feel better just with their presence, without even saying a word.
“try as I may, I could never explain what I hear when you don't say a thing."
He says that when his lady love is with him, even when she is not saying anything, he can feel the love, affection support and warmth that she has for him.
Let’s look at the lines of the chorus
“The smile on your face lets me know that you need me. There’s a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me."

Here he says that he can’t explain in words the bond that he shares with his girlfriend and it is very special and unique.
